Project Details
Problem & Context
Workday users faced significant challenges with manual processing of sales orders, requisitions, and purchase orders. This manual approach was slow, error-prone, and frustrating, leading to delayed order fulfillment, poor supplier collaboration, and difficulty making data-driven decisions. The lack of automation and real-time tracking created operational inefficiencies and reduced profitability.
My Contributions
As Product Manager at Makse Group, I owned and managed the development lifecycle for the Sales Order & Dropship Management application. I managed the Product Team responsible for delivering this Built On Workday solution, collaborating with consultants on design documentation, unit testing, and build reviews. I created mockups using Figma for the Workday Extend application and managed client projects. I also owned and managed the strategic roadmap for this and other solutions developed in-house.

The Sales Order & Dropship Management app transformed how Workday users handle sales orders, requisitions, and purchase orders. By automating workflows, ensuring accurate billing, and keeping everything seamlessly connected, the app speeds up order fulfillment, improves supplier collaboration, and enables confident, data-driven decisions. With real-time tracking and smart automation, businesses can work faster, reduce errors, and boost profitability, all within their Workday ecosystem.
Challenges & Solutions
The primary challenge was automating complex workflows involving sales orders, requisitions, and purchase orders while maintaining accuracy and seamless integration within the Workday ecosystem. We had to design solutions that eliminated manual headaches while ensuring all processes remained connected and transparent. Managing the product team and coordinating with consultants required balancing technical requirements with user needs. Additionally, creating effective Figma mockups that accurately represented Workday Extend functionality required deep understanding of both the platform capabilities and user workflows.
